Where can I store my e-books?

Keep your e-books safe and organised.

Now that you own and posess your actual e-book files, you need to keep them safe.

Most independent e-bookshops sell you e-books just like any other product. Once you've paid, it's yours to collect (in this case download) and look after.

If you lose track of them, you may be able to return to the shop later and download them again. But you may also hit an issue where you've reached your download limit, or the file is no longer available, or the shop may have closed in the meantime. It happens!

You can keep your e-books on your reading device, on your computer, or backed up on an external hard drive or USB stick. You might even decide to store them online, such as on Dropbox or Google Drive. Another option is a service we've developed, called Libreture.

Libreture provides e-book storage for indie readers.
Upload your DRM-free e-books, digital magazines or comics, organise your reading lists, and discover great new titles.

Specially designed to support DRM-free e-books, Libreture keeps your books safe, lets you arrange them into reading lists, and download them directly to any reading device whenever you like. You can also use it to keep track of where you bought each book, and even share that information with others.
